Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and maintaining imaging and hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup; ensure infection control and procedural protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
