Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dothan, Alabama. The IR Tech will work 40 hours per week, performing fluoroscopic procedures and assisting physicians with image-guided interventions.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of acute care experience, current BLS/ACLS and ARRT(R) certification, and may hold a vascular interventional certificate. Travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification required; state licensing as needed.
• Vascular Interventional certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients during procedures and report abnormalities.
• Scrub in on diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS system for imaging.
