Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Dothan, Alabama. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopy equipment, assist physicians in interventional procedures, and monitor patients throughout procedures.

Requirements include 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing where required. Vascular Interventional certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification required; state licensing when required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Scrub in on diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS systems.
