Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. The IR tech will support interventional procedures, position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure safety with radiation protocols.

The role requires 1 year IR experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS and state licensure are preferred. You will join a supportive clinical team and enjoy travel-friendly benefits and pay.

Formación

• IR tech with 1 year of interventional radiology experience.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS or ENPC certifications preferred in some states.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging modalities to guide procedures.
• Scrub in, pass instruments, and maintain sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure patient care.
