Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Norfolk, VA assignment. The role involves performing vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 13‑week contract and 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Candidates should have proven IR radiography experience, strong patient safety knowledge, and excellent communication with staff and patients. This travel position offers benefits and a competitive package.

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision‑making skills.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Meet local health regulations and complete post‑offer health assessment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively under stress.

Mansioni

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (PACS, RIS, etc.).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams and provide clinical excellence.
