Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification with appropriate licensing. The IR Tech will scrub and monitor procedures, manage IV/dye injections, and uphold radiation safety standards.

The position features 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and a 13-week duration, with tax-free stipends and travel-related benefits provided by TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (R), and ACLS certifications.
• State licensing as required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and understand anatomy/physiology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and shielding standards.
• Operate IV/dye injector pumps as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS.
• Understand and use the PACS system and IMaging requests.
