Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to operate radiographic equipment and perform vascular and neuroradiology interventional procedures in Richmond, VA. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week with 4x10 hour shifts, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills and patient safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate to residents and families and work with others.
• Ability to meet health regulations and pass post-offer health assessment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems related to modalities.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor with supplies for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
