Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Charleston, South Carolina. The Interventional Radiology Tech will provide imaging services and assist the IR team in procedures within a hospital setting.

This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and comprehensive benefits including housing options and credentialing support. Eligible candidates will have an active license and 18 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operates radiology equipment to obtain images per physician orders.
• Assist the physician with procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, and maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
