Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, support physicians in interventional procedures, and ensure patient safety and accurate documentation.

The right candidate has 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R), and any required state licensing; vascular interventional certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures and maintain records.
• Understand radiation protection standards and MCPACS system usage.
