Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, MO. The IR tech will support interventional procedures, operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, and collaborate with a clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

Required credentials include 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and current BLS; ACLS and PALS/ENPC are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Radiologic Technologist license in-state (preferred).
• PALS or ENPC certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound as needed.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.
