Qualifications

• Recent Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy is required.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Compounds and prepares medications including sterile products, oral formulations, topical products, and controlled substances.
• Processes high-risk medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Delivers medications to patient areas and returns unused medications to pharmacy.
• Documents pharmaceutical activities including patient billing and equipment.
• Operates automated dispensing technology to supply medicines according to orders.
• Manages inventory, restocks, rotates stock, and tracks expirations.
• Assists with training new staff and participates in process improvement projects.
• Performs regulatory compliance inspections of medication storage areas.
