Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in managing students whose behavior is out-of-control for the purpose of maintaining a calm school environment and ensuring students' success.
• Communicates with students, parents, teachers, administration and staff for planning and supporting student success.
• Facilitates prevention and intervention protocols for identified, at-risk students to address behavioral issues and provide referrals.
• Intervenes with chronic offenders to de-escalate crises and return students to regular studies as quickly as possible.
• Maintains confidential and non-confidential records and documentation in compliance with policies.
