American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC. The role requires 2+ years in hospital IR, ARRT certification, and BLS, with 4x10 hour day shifts totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in interventional radiology.
• Current BLS certification through AHA required.
• Current State/District license required, if applicable.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent required, with completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Must meet current state Radiation Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians during interventional procedures and provides diagnostic support via organ or body scans.
• Administers and records isotope dosage per departmental protocol.
• Monitors patients during procedures and reports any abnormal activity.
• Performs interventional radiology procedures including special procedures and cardiac interventional exams.
