American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience for a role requiring ARRT and BLS certification at an academic teaching hospital.

Responsibilities include performing a wide range of IR procedures, working in an academic center, and supporting adult ICU patients with imaging and interventional care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IR Technologist experience required.
• ARRT and BLS certification required; ARRT Advanced preferred.
• License required if applicable in the posting state.
• Experience with a range of IR procedures and imaging guidance.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department of an academic, tertiary care medical center.
• Treat adult and ICU patient populations, including in/outpatient cases.
• Perform 4x10 hour shifts and participate in a call rotation (~10 days/month).
• Utilize PACS, C-Arm, Siemens equipment, and injector systems for procedures.
• Document in Epic EMR and support a broad range of IR studies.
• Provide patient care in vascular, neuro, GU, and abdominal/pelvic procedures.

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience for a role requiring ARRT and BLS certification at an academic teaching hospital.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist
• ARRT and BLS certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU patients
• Proficiency with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal/pelvic, and upper/lower extremity procedures
• Ability to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits
• Experience with TIPS, carotid stenting, dialysis graft interventions, embolization, IVC filter placement, and vertebroplasty preferred
• Skills in venous access, port/central line management, PICC care, and vascular procedures

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department of an academic, tertiary care medical center
• Adult and ICU patient population including outpatient and inpatient cases
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call rotation averaging 10 days per month, including a weekend
• No floating outside of scope required
• Uses PACS, C-Arm, Siemens equipment, contrast media, and injector systems (ACIST preferred)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Support neurological, genitourinary, vascular, and abdominal/pelvic interventional studies
• Scrubs provided
• Onsite parking available at no cost
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be considered
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
