Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1-3 years of IR experience, proficiency in VIR and neuro procedures, and ARRT(R) certification for a 4x10 day shift contract.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US-guided interventions
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off each week (typically following a call shift)
- 1 to 2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call every 6 weeks
- Preferred experience with Epic, Siemens single-plane and bi-plane equipment, and McKesson PACS
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Interventional Radiology experience with demonstrated skill in VIR and neuro procedures required
- ARRT(R) and BLS required
- RTR or RTRVI certification required
- Kentucky Radiation Operator's License required prior to start date
- Proficiency in scrubbing as first assist to physician, circulating, filming, and charging exams in Epic
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
- License required if applicable — no licensure hits will be accepted
Additional Information
- Assist physician with interventional neuro, vascular, and CT/US-guided procedures
- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
