Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in West Palm Beach, FL. The IR tech will prepare patients, operate fluoroscopic imaging, assist physicians, monitor vitals, and ensure radiation safety in a fast-paced lab.

Requires 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Preferred ACLS/PALS and radiologic technologist license. Travel benefits include competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor patient vitals and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure patient care.
