Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in West Palm Beach, FL. The IR tech will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, manage imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and a current BLS. Travel benefits and a supportive clinical team are included to enhance patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment readiness.
