Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in West Palm Beach, Florida. The role involves operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with a 40-hour week and 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Meet physical and sensory requirements as listed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (RIS, PACS, Kronos, etc.).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
