Job summary

American Traveler seeks a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in High Point, North Carolina. The job entails working 40 hours per week and includes options for 4×10-hour or 5×8-hour shifts. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience and current ARRT-R or RCIS certification are encouraged to apply.

This position is suitable for those residing more than 50 miles from the facility. Orientation and training are provided, and first-time travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, most recent within the last year.
• Active ARRT-R or RCIS certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IR procedures and manage procedural supplies.
• Operate imaging equipment effectively during procedures.
• Handle pre and post-operation tasks in the department.

Skills

Interventional Radiology experience

Proficiency in operating imaging equipment

Scrubbing and assisting in IR procedures

Experience with Epic EMR

BLS and ACLS certification

Education

ARRT-R or RCIS certification

Tools

Siemens imaging systems

Sonosite Ultrasound

Baxter IV pumps
