Job Summary

American Traveler seeks a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in High Point, North Carolina.

Start Date: June 8, 2026. Shift: 4×10‑hour days (0700–1730) or 5×8‑hour days (0800–1630). 40 hours per week. Local contract assignment.

Assignment Details

• Location: Radiology – Special Studies department at a 351‑bed teaching hospital.
• Patient volume: ~15 patients per day.
• Procedures: Venous (dialysis lines, ports, TIPS, IVC, SVC), Body (complex embolizations, thrombectomy, thrombolysis, sclerotherapy, Y90s/SIR‑Spheres, biopsies, drainage, and access).
• Team: 1 provider, 4 APPs, 2 techs per room with RN.
• EMR: Epic Encompass; equipment includes Siemens imaging systems, Sonosite Ultrasound, Baxter IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing.
• Schedule: 4×10‑hour day shifts or 5×8‑hour day shifts on a 4–6 week cycle.
• No weekend rotation except call; on‑call 3–4 days per month plus weekend call every 5th–6th weekend from Friday through Monday at 0800.
• 75% of holidays expected.
• No floating required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, most recent within the last year.
• Active ARRT‑R or RCIS certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Active state license if required.
• Proficiency in scrubbing, assisting in IR procedures, circulating, operating imaging equipment, and managing procedural supplies.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted).
