Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a teaching hospital in High Point, North Carolina.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, certification in ARRT-R or RCIS, and proficiency in various procedures. The shifts are 4×10 hours or 5×8 hours with 40 hours per week.

First-time travelers are welcome, and the hospital provides necessary scrubs and free parking on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, most recent within the last year.
• Must reside >50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• References: at least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Radiology – Special Studies department at a teaching hospital.
• Perform venous procedures and complex body work.
• Assist with Epic EMR and required imaging systems.

Skills

Interventional Radiology experience

Proficiency in scrubbing and assisting in IR procedures

Operating imaging equipment

Managing supplies

Education

Active ARRT-R or RCIS certification

BLS and ACLS certifications

Active medical license
