American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro IR experience for a cardiac interventional radiology assignment. ARRT and BLS certification are required, with VA license pending if applicable.

The role supports a teaching hospital, requires 4x10 hour shifts and regular call, and offers housing allowances and travel reimbursements as part of its benefits. Charlottesville, VA area assignments preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT Advanced Cert preferred.
• VA license required if applicable; pending licenses accepted if licensed in another state.
• Neuro IR experience required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Proficiency in angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, nephrostomy, biliary drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and vascular studies.
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including PTCA and cardiac stent placement.
• BSN preferred.
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Prior IR/Neuro IR staff tech experience considered for first-time travelers.
• 50-mile radius rule applies.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department at a teaching hospital.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• 1-2 call shifts per week and one call weekend per month.
• Floating within clinical scope of practice as needed.Epic EMR experience required.
• Travel within 50-mile radius rule applies.
• Perform a wide range of IR procedures including abdominal/pelvic, genitourinary, neurological, and vascular studies.
• Work with Siemens equipment and PACS imaging systens.
• Maximum of 40 hours RTO per 13-week contract, must be disclosed at submission.
• Any pre-start vacation time must be disclosed prior to scheduling start date.
• External travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days and are not eligible to return after reaching this limit.
