American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology role. Requires ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience in interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab settings.

IL license in hand and BLS/ACLS required; Epic and Omnicell experience preferred. Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional procedures, 1:1 patient care, and on-call/ weekend shifts.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or AS; BSN preferred.
• ARRT Certification required.
• IL license in hand if applicable; no emergency/pending licenses accepted.
• BLS/ACLS through AHA; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Omnicell and Epic experience required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient in venous access, central line care, angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement.
• Cardiac cath lab skills: diagnostic/left-right hearts, PCI, TAVR, Impella, IABP.
• Neurological procedure skills: carotid angiography, embolization, thrombolysis/thrombectomy.
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose).
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS.
• Skills checklist and 2 references, including supervisor/manager within last year.

Responsabilidades

• Interventional Radiology unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including IABP, IVUS, and Impella.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio and ensure safety in procedures.
• Perform biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, fistulograms, angiograms, and drainage placements.
• Utilize Siemens C-Arm and GE ultrasound systems; ensure proper setup and operation.
• Epic EMR experience required for charting and orders.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; weekend coverage as required.
• On-call 13.5 hours weekdays and 24 hours on weekends; approx 7–9 calls every 6 weeks.
• Assist with equipment setup, EKG leads, access site prep, and sterile field maintenance.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias; perform room circulator duties and PPE protocols.
• May float between facilities within the health system as requested by management.
• Adhere to time-off requests submitted in advance; local candidates may be prioritized.
