MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role requires 40 hours per week in a day shift and involves interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has an active license, relevant certifications, and at least 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing is required.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials are required.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department by offering technical support to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assist the physician with procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, and evaluating diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain patient records accurately and legibly.
