Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. The IR tech will assist physicians, operate imaging modalities, and support high-acuity vascular and non-vascular procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Required: 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and BLS. Preferred: ACLS, radiologic license, and additional certifications. Travel benefits and competitive pay provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
