Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to serve a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The role requires performing complex interventional procedures and operating radiographic equipment with emphasis on patient safety and efficiency.

The assignment offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel support. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of IR experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related clinical systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
• Ensure that relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
