Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to work in Florence, SC, handling complex vascular and neuroradiology procedures and operating radiographic equipment with precision.

The role requires at least 2 years of IR experience, independent decision-making, and strong patient safety awareness. It is a 13-week travel contract with 8-hour day shifts; locum benefits and licensing support are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of radiology interventional experience.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Able to relate positively to residents and families and cooperate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (RIS, Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams and provide clinical excellence.
