Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel assignment in Miami, FL. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians in interventional procedures, and monitor patients throughout the case.

This travel role requires 1 year of acute care experience and relevant certifications. The position offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a tax-free stipend basis to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) National Certification and state-specific licensing when required.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients.
• Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures and maintain radiation protection standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
