Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Miami, FL. The role emphasizes neuro-interventional experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center’s Special Procedures unit, with 4x10-hour days and 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has RCIS or equivalent certification, BLS/ACLS, and vascular IR procedural experience. Candidates should be able to perform challenging cases, work well with clinicians, and meet a 30-minute on-call response when

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• RCIS or other procedural/cardiology-centered certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Vascular IR procedural experience with knowledge of Cath Lab/IR protocols and procedures.
• Neuro-interventional experience required.
• Strong communication skills.
• CVT, ARRT, or RCIS preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform full scope of interventional radiology procedures including vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
• Collaborate with nurses and other technologists to maintain patient safety and throughput.
• Adhere to unit protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in MACLab/Meditech systems.
