Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. This 13-week travel assignment in Charlottesville, VA requires 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a 5x8 schedule and travel-related duties.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills required.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively.
• Meet local health regulations and pass post-offer health assessment.
• Physical and sensory requirements listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
