Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment in Marysville, CA. Focused on cardiac and vascular radiographic procedures in a short-term acute care setting. Start date: 09/28/2026. Assignment duration: 16 weeks. Shift: Day, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• ARRT certification preferred; RT in state of practice required; CPR/BLS certification.
• At least two years of recent radiology experience; cath lab or special procedures preferred; cath lab experience required.
• Current nursing license per state of assignment; ability to work in a fast-paced interventional lab; on-call schedule (approximately 6–7 days per month, including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce digital images and cinefluorography during procedures.
• Position and prepare patients, provide explanations, and assist physicians with interventional studies.
• Enter protocol-driven technical factors into the imaging system; adjust equipment per physician instruction.
• Administer contrast media, monitor patient response, and operate fluoroscopy and image capture equipment.
• Monitor patient status during imaging, communicate changes to the physician, and provide post-procedure instructions.
• Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and adherence to department protocols.
