Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a hospital-based travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The 13-week role features a 4x10-hour rotating schedule with competitive weekly pay and comprehensive support.

Requirements include an active California Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT Radiography certification; interventional radiology experience is preferred. Housing assistance available upon request.

Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography; Interventional Radiography certification preferred.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using specialized equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
• Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies as needed.
• Deliver efficient clinical care with a high level of technical and organizational skill and strong critical thinking.
• Mentor and train staff on technical skills; contribute to staff development and performance discussions: provide input into hiring and promotion decisions.
