Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment in Marysville, California. The 16-week role guarantees 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital, starting 09/28/2026.

The position emphasizes cardiac and vascular radiographic procedures with active interventional work in the cardiovascular lab. California RT license or eligibility, ARRT preferred; BLS/CPR required; 1–2 years cath lab experience ideal;

Qualifications

• California licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) or eligible; ARRT certification preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor
• Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience: 1–2 years Cath Lab or interventional radiology experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional lab environment and participate in the on-call schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cath lab
• Operate imaging equipment, fluoroscopy, and cinefluorography to produce diagnostic and procedural images
• Position and immobilize patients, prepare and instruct for exams, and ensure proper documentation
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures, adjust technical factors, and manage contrast administration
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and equipment performance; maintain radiation safety and infection control standards
• Enter procedure parameters and imaging sequences into the computer, coordinate with team, and communicate findings or changes to the physician
