Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for its Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit. Certification in ARRT and CRT fluoroscopy, plus BLS, and a CA license if applicable, are required.

The role involves diagnostic and interventional imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting. The successful candidate will operate complex imaging equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and educate patients about procedures and contrast media.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• CRT and fluoroscopy certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• CA state license required if applicable.
• 3-5 years of recent relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department performing diagnostic and interventional exams, including hybrid procedures.
• Operates complex stationary and mobile diagnostic imaging equipment.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Varied call required on nights and weekends with rotating weekend coverage.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and guidance imaging for invasive procedures.
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated effects to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure routine and priority tasks are completed within departmental time frames.
• Local candidates within 50 miles at local rate; returning staff after 1-year separation.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract; only 1 holiday per contract.
