Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel assignment experience.

The role requires ARRT and BLS certifications, an active Michigan license if applicable (compact licenses not accepted), and two supervisor references. Evening 5x8 shifts, no call, no floating, with Siemens fluoroscopy and PACS usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Previous travel assignment experience required.
• ARRT and BLS certifications required; ARRT VI preferred.
• Active Michigan license required if applicable; compact licenses not accepted.
• Two manager or supervisor references required; charge nurse references not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department.
• 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 2:50 PM to 10:50 PM.
• No call requirements.
• No floating required.
• Procedural responsibilities include equipment set up, prepping access sites, room circulating, and scrubbing to maintain sterile field.
• Uses Siemens fluoroscopy equipment and PACS system.
• First-time travelers will not be accepted for this role.
• Traveler pairs are not accepted.
• Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate.
• Former permanent employees may return as travelers after one year of separation.
• All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Orientation includes onsite completion of required modules.
