Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Cambridge, MA. This role offers a 40-hour workweek, days shift, and the chance to work with a dedicated clinical team to support vascular and non-vascular procedures.

Bring at least one year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS/PALS and state license are encouraged.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• State Radiologic Technologist license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures.
• Monitor and document vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members to ensure patient care.
