Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment in Cambridge, MA. The role runs for 13 weeks with 4x10-hour days, typically 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., plus a call rotation, starting 11/23/2026.

Required are an active MA radiologic license, ARRT (Radiography), and BLS (AHA). Vaccination is part of onboarding; must be located more than 50 miles away from the facility. Onboarding includes credentialing steps and coversheet processing.

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts license to practice radiologic technology (or eligible and obtained during onboarding)
ARRT certification (Radiography)
BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) certification
Flu vaccine required during onboarding

Responsibilities

Operate interventional radiology imaging equipment during procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiographic imaging, under physician guidance
Prepare and position patients, maintain sterile technique, and assist with procedures such as catheter placements and device deployments
Acquire, process, and interpret images; ensure image quality and safety, monitor radiation exposure, and perform routine equipment checks
Monitor patient status during procedures; respond to emergent events and assist with safe transfer to recovery or post-procedure care
Document procedures and maintain accurate records; follow department protocols and participate in quality improvement efforts
