Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ years of General IR experience to join a tertiary hospital's cardiac interventional radiology team.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a tertiary hospital
• Daily caseload of 4 per technologist
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation shared between three technologists
• Weekend requirement of every third weekend
• No floating required between units or sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
• General IR case experience required; Neuro IR experience preferred
• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must provide own radiation badge, as the facility does not supply one to travelers
• Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include isolation precautions/PPE, infection control, and sterile technique
• Lead tech experience is a plus
• OR scrubs provided by the facility
• Block scheduling may be accommodated pending manager approval based on unit needs
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to facility approval
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered
• During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
