Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a role at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of IR experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department in a short-term acute care, teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
• Level III Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend and call requirements apply
• Must be willing to float within the hospital or affiliated campuses based on staffing needs
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• ARRT registration required
• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• Active state or Compact license required at submission - license required if applicable
• Must obtain ACLS certification and pass the EKG exam prior to start
• No background or license actions within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrubs provided
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• System has a 2 contract limit, allowing one extension, then requires a 6-month gap before returning (radiology exempt from extension limits)
• Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted per assignment
• Candidates requesting holiday RTO may request one major holiday only
• Compliance modules must be completed prior to start, estimated at 4–10 hours
