Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The role requires 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience, current license, and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities include assisting IR team, performing imaging procedures, and maintaining sterile field. Travel benefits and housing support are provided by MedPro Staffing.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through the provision of technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images according to physician specifications.
• Assist the physician with various diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, and evaluating diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and established guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient care and timely service.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately.
