Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to join our VIP team for a 13-week assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The role involves performing vascular and neuroradiology interventional procedures and supporting radiologists with complex imaging tasks.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of IR experience, strong patient-safety knowledge, and excellent communication with staff, physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiography experience.
• Strong patient safety knowledge and adherence to protocols.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Independent decision-making and ability to handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Maintain skills in clinical systems (McKesson RIS, PACS, etc.).
• Monitor equipment to ensure performance per specs.
• Assist supervisor with supplies for patient care.
• Capture accurate exam information at the time of the exam.
• Support radiologists to perform exams with clinical excellence.
