Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13-week assignment in Dothan, AL. You will work a 40-hour week on a day shift in a travel role, collaborating with radiologists and the clinical team.

As part of the team, you will assist with imaging procedures, patient preparation, and equipment setup, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a fast-paced IR lab. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
