Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a traveling Imaging - IR Tech to support interventional radiology in Atlanta, GA. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, collaborate with physicians, and ensure patient safety across hospital settings.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT, GA licensure, 2+ years IR experience, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. This assignment offers premium travel opportunities, stipends for housing and meals, and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered and certified in Radiologic Technology with ARRT.
• Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in Georgia.
• Two or more years of IR Tech experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for optimal patient care.
• Demonstrate competency in sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately and timely.
• Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort throughout each procedure.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
