Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role requires 1+ year IR experience and ARRT-R certification, with BLS on file; ACLS/ARRT-VI preferred. Work 4x10s, days, 40 hours weekly, with a call requirement.

Unit may include Cath Lab/EP float opportunities; Epic EMR experience helpful. Local candidates considered on the same bill rate. Travel housing stipends provided per assignment.

Qualifications

1 year Interventional Radiology experience required.
ARRT-R and BLS certifications required; ACLS and ARRT-VI preferred.
License may be required depending on location.
Teaching/community hospital and Level I/II trauma experience preferred.
Familiar with vascular, GU, abdominal/pelvic, neurological and venous access procedures.
Experience with angioplasty, embolization, stent placement and angiography preferred.
Proficient with PACS and EKG lead placement.
Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including vascular, GU and neurological studies.
Maintain and operate imaging and procedural equipment.
Provide patient care and assist with Cath Lab/EP as needed.
Float to related units as staffing requires.
Comply with facility policies and call requirements.
