Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Special Procedures for a travel nursing job in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This role requires a 13-week commitment with 36 hours per week, day shifts, and a focus on Interventional Radiology patient care.

The RN will work with the Interventional Radiology team, perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing duties, and ensure patient safety and education throughout all procedures.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a valid BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.
• Travel assignment requires flexibility and client-driven requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide education to patients and families.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines and administer medications including moderate sedation.
• Monitor vital signs and patient safety before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure comfort and safe peri-procedural care for cardiac patients.
