Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• Eighteen months of recent Interventional Radiology experience
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures
• Provide education to patient and family
• Insert and remove intravenous lines
• Administer medications including moderate sedation
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
• Oversee patient safety before, during and after procedures
• Provide post-procedure monitoring
