MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Interventional Radiology for a 13-week assignment in Tyler, Texas. The role involves 40 hours per week on days, with travel housing options and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and 18 months of IR-specific experience, along with BLS certification. Additional client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
