Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Traveling Interventional Radiographer in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures, with travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Meet local health regulations and pass post-offer health assessment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Maintain skills in RIS, PACS, and clinical systems.
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor with supplies and exam information.
• Support radiologists during exams to ensure clinical excellence.
