Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to support a Topeka, KS client. This 13-week contract requires 40 hours per week, dayshift, travel assignment. The role involves operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (RIS, PACS, portals).
• Monitor equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining supplies for patient care.
• Ensure proper exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
