Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a qualified Interventional Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in Paducah, KY. The role involves inpatient cardiology procedures with call coverage and a schedule of 7a-7a, 3–7 days per month.

Board-certified in interventional cardiology with a KY or IMLC license (or eligible) is required, along with an active DEA and ACLS. Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Board certification in interventional cardiology is required.
• Active KY medical license or IMLC eligibility is required.
• DEA registration must be active.
• ACLS certification is required for acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization and coronary angiograms.
• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
• Provide general cardiology consultations as needed.
• Read and interpret EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).
• Read and interpret EKG, ECHOs, and stress tests.
